Player: One Prime

The CPU is like the brain of your build, coordinating all components for your PC to run and impacting in-game FPS.

You can choose between two CPUs for Player: One Prime that will provide high performance but have two key differences.

• Clock Speed: Measured in GHz. The higher the number, the faster the computer. You’ll notice a higher clock speed when opening programs, files and exporting photos.
• Total Cores: More cores allows your computer to do more things at once. You’ll appreciate more cores if you often have lots of programs running or open lots of web browser tabs.

The GPU is considered by many to be one of the most important components in your build. That's because it has one of the most important jobs: rendering what you do on your PC to your display! When considering GPUs, here are a few features to consider:

• GPU VRAM: More VRAM generally allows you to run games at higher settings. For quality gaming, aim for a minimum of 6GB VRAM. Above this enhances game detail.
• CUDA Core: CUDA is NVIDIA's technology that enables faster processing on their GPUs (just like AMD’s Stream Processors.) Generally, the more CUDA cores the more graphics rendering, simulations, and deep learning performances.
• Clock Speed: Higher clock speeds enhance performance in gaming, while more cores boost performance under heavy workloads.

NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 vs NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti

RAM is crucial for running applications and games on your PC. It stores temporary data to help your PC manage multiple tasks at once. More RAM enables better multitasking and responsiveness.

Your storage device holds the operating system, applications, and files, with speeds measured in MB/s (Megabytes per Second). Faster storage retrieves information more quickly.

The Player One and Player One: Prime can support VR gaming, but performance will depend on the VR equipment and the game being played.

Popular VR games like Beat Saber have relatively moderate system requirements:

• CPU: Windows Core i7, Skylake or equivalent
• GPU: NVidia RTX 1060 or Equivalent (Player: One will exceed this)
• RAM: 8GB (all our Player PCs start at 16GB)

Please note, for more demanding VR titles may require higher-end hardware. We recommend checking the specific requirements of the VR games you intend to play to ensure the best experience.

DDR5 offers higher bandwidth for faster data transfer, leading to smoother gameplay and better multitasking. With greater memory capacity per module, you can upgrade with fewer slots. DDR5 operates at a lower voltage, making it more energy-efficient and reducing heat. It also includes built-in error correction, enhancing system reliability and stability during intense gaming sessions.

Because we use all standard PC components, this makes our PCs easy to upgrade down the line to improve the performance of your PC. Please note, the NZXT Warranty does not cover issues caused by components added or changed within your PC.
